Salary: $57,000- $61,000

Summary:

We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician with a manufacturing maintenance background, possessing mechanical and electrical skillset. The ideal candidate will have experience working with 480 volt electrical, and preferably have secondary education in electronics or a journeyman background.

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, and installation of machinery, including milling machines, drills, machine centers, and sand blasters. You will also be responsible for the wiring and installation of motors ranging from 60-300 horsepower, as well as the repair and troubleshooting of PLCs such as Eaton, ABB, and Siemens.

Your role will involve a mix of both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair, and you will work closely with the Maintenance Group, which includes mechanics and electricians.

Additional Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Work with or under the direction of supervisors, engineers, and contractors as needed.
• Assemble, verify dimensions, and disassemble components or set-ups as required.
• Perform inspections on lifting equipment such as chains, cables, shackles, eyebolts, clamps, and lifting beams to determine the safe operating condition.
• Accurately report findings of inspections to operations, supervisor, etc. Document, organize, and retain all findings of evaluations and inspections in a timely manner.
• Interpret drawings, sketches, etc. to determine necessary tools and materials needed for assignments.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs on all equipment and operating systems within the facility, including gearboxes, transmissions, hydraulic & lubrication systems, injection, heating, and molding equipment

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must demonstrate skills in print reading and application
• Passing score on General Aptitude test or A 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience repairing machine tool equipment
• Manufacturing maintenance background
• Mechanical and electrical skillset
• Legally Authorized to work in the US without Sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with 480 volt electrical
• Secondary education in electronics or journeyman background preferred
• 10+ years of experience in electrical work (if no educational background)
• Knowledge and experience with PLCs such as Eaton, ABB, and Siemens
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing 60-300 horsepower motors
• Experience with sand blasters
