💰 Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 (Based on experience)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Rebar Estimator to join our team in Calgary, AB. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost and rebar estimates, generating contract sales, and collaborating with various departments to ensure project success. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project documents to prepare precise cost and rebar estimates.
• Generate contract sales to meet or exceed budget expectations (cold calls & quote follow-ups).
• Acquire and review tender documents for upcoming projects.
• Negotiate contract sales with clients.
• Track and follow up on quotation status for all project bids.
• Collaborate with administrative staff to manage contracts, drafting office files, and contract revisions.
• Identify and communicate potential sales opportunities.
• Source and gather pricing for special order materials.
• Work closely with Sales, Production, Installation, and Safety teams to align on project scope.
• Review scope of work, specifications, and addendums to ensure accurate breakdown of materials.
• Make necessary adjustments to estimates based on project updates.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience in rebar estimating, contract sales, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite is an asset.
