About the Position:
PrideNow is seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Electrician to join our team at our underground zinc operation near Gouverneur, NY. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment with excellent benefits. The candidate will need to work 5–10-hour shifts with 2 days off per week.

Responsibilities:

• Run cables, wires, and communication lines.
• Mount J-boxes, control boxes, switch boxes, and perform mechanical installations.
• Read and interpret electrical prints and schematics.
• Test and troubleshoot circuits, motors, fans, controllers, VFDs, and transformers.
• Perform terminations and splicing, including high voltage splices.
• Develop knowledge of hoisting and crushing operations and troubleshoot related issues.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant industrial electrical experience.
• Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
• Must perform work without posing a direct threat to health and safety, considering the safety sensitivity of the tasks.
