What are we looking for in our Materials Coordinator?

PrideNow is hiring a Materials Coordinator! This is a temp-to-hire position with our food manufacturing client in Piscataway, NJ.

Pay Range: $18-$20/hr. dependent on experience

Shift: 10 am-830pm M-F

Job Overview:

The Materials Coordinator will be responsible for the systematic manufacturing process of Finished Goods and Work in Progress items.

Job Duties:

• Complete the build of Finished Goods (FG) and Work in Progress (WIP) in the ERP/WMS system as they are physically manufactured. This includes:
  • Verifying lot numbers and quantities used during the manufacturing process.
  • Consuming the raw materials using the appropriate Work Order in the ERP system.
• Oversee the build of and Label pallets and transfer FG & WIP into appropriate bin locations in WMS system.
• Coordinate with the Production and Packaging teams to ensure that the Daily Plan is met.
• Coordinate with Production & Warehouse team to ensure that production team has the appropriate materials (Packaging & Raw materials) need to meet the production plan.
• Communicate requests from Warehouse team to Production team to ensure that sufficient FG are created to meet the orders
• Help stage FG & WIP in cold storage.
• Work with Warehouse & Packaging teams to ensure WIP items are pulled according to FIFO practices.
• Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure that FG and WIP quantities are accurate and report/ correct discrepancies as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.
• Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong team player and fast learner

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• H.S Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience using Excel

• Basic computer skills
