Job Title: Assistant Project Manager (APM)

Pay: approximately, $65,000

Job Type: Full time, permanent

Job Scope: It is the responsibility of the Assistant Project Manager (APM) to obtain, evaluate, coordinate, and distribute the information and authorizations needed to construct the project within the established goals for quality, timeliness, budget, profitability, safety, and customer satisfaction. The APM shall work with the Project Administrator (PA) to coordinate PA tasks and may delegate tasks to the PA if deemed acceptable by the PM. APM responsibilities will vary by project and by individual APM’s level of experience and ability.

Job Duties:

• Support the project manager by executing assigned duties effectively.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all contract documents.
• Evaluate and analyze project estimates to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Facilitate the review and finalization of contracts for smooth project execution.
• Prepare and present well-structured Construction Plans for each project.
• Obtain necessary permits as required and distribute contract documents to relevant parties.
• Organize and maintain an office set of project plans and specifications.
• Ensure a thorough review and understanding of contract specifications and drawings.
• Coordinate the gathering, review, and organization of all project submittals for compliance with specifications.
• Establish and maintain project files for submittals, RFIs, change orders, ASIs, equipment delivery, etc.
• Foster a productive working relationship with the entire project team and stakeholders, while proactively addressing and resolving deficiencies and issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s preferred
• 1-3 years of experience, construction experience preferred.
• Software experience: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam and Navisworks.

Rate/Salary: 65000
